After becoming district 2nd and all Island 12th at the GCE Advanced Level (AL) Examination (2012) from Mathematics stream, he enters the University of Moratuwa as an Engineering undergraduate. Continuing to do tremendously well he becomes top of the batch at the first semester examination of the university, and manages to join the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications. Finally at the end of four years he graduates with a First-Class Honours Degree. Currently he teaches Combined Mathematics for the students who follow the Mathematics stream for their GCE Advanced Level Examination as a professional lecturer in Galle and Matara districts.
